Aristea Rellou

Aristea Rellou is the Co-Founder and Director of the studio and project management agency, Hekate Studios, and the nomadic gallery KIRKI, which curates site-specific contemporary art exhibitions in the Cyclades annually. She is also an experienced major donor fundraiser, who has developed and implemented strategies for fundraising from HNW and UHNW individual donors internationally. 

Aristea has worked in public and private art institutions for 12+ years and in fundraising for the past 6+ years. These include Serpentine Galleries, Camden Art Centre, Tate, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Through Hekate Studios, she has collaborated with Centre Pompidou, Venice Biennale, HeK Basel, Onassis Foundation, Hayward Gallery, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, New Museum and CAM St Louis, amongst many more.  

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Aristea has lived and worked in the US and the UK for the past 10 years. She is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and social justice, and has been a co-organiser for the Thessaloniki Queer Arts Festival. She is passionate for cross-cultural exchange and collaboration, and aims to continue creating platforms that empower and support the creative endeavours, fair treatment and social impact of artists and art workers.
