Malcolm Andrews

Malcolm Andrews completed his undergraduate studies with a Degree in Health Science Double Majoring in Psychology & Health Promotion, and is currently pursuing his postgraduate studies in Psychology. He is originally from the village of Wainaloka, Ovalau, province of Lomaiviti in the Fiji Islands.

Malcolm has over 4 years working experience with the Auckland & Waitemata District Health Boards as a Pacific Workforce Development Consultant, and is strongly passionate about youth empowerment and transformational speaking. Malcolm’s experience has enabled him to enhance his knowledge on the principles of Health and Wellbeing, Cultural Competency and Workforce Development. He isequally passionate about establishing youth inclusive programmes, creating a sense of belonging and voice for youth, influencing them to take control over the aspects that determine their lives, thus making their community an even better place to live.
Malcolm is the Founder of Project ConchShell (https://www.facebook.com/ProjectConchShell), an online platform that uses storytelling to inspire, educate, and encourage young people. The project focuses onempowerment, encouraging empathy, promoting positive social changes, and embracing our differences.
